Nestled in Mangakino, you can enjoy any number of activities ranging from a round of golf at the scenic local course, to hiking and biking along the Waikato River Trails and of course, all the water sports you can think of from swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, wakeboarding, water-skiing, rowing to powerboating.
You can also brush up on your knowledge and visit Pa Harakeke to learn about the native forests & traditional plant uses.

Our basic bach is just that..... basic, no extras to charge for here! To keep costs down we don't supply any linen, just bring your own and take it when you are done! Just don't mistake basic for unloved, we love it's simplicity and hope you will too.
Located on Rangatira Drive, our basic bach is close to local amenities. 5 minute walk down the road to the Four Square, Cafe and Fish & Chip shop. Pop to the lake, which is a short 3 minute walk away. Great boat ramp to easily load in and out of, if it's busy park the trailer back at the bach and you're golden.
- 3 bedrooms - 1 master bedroom with a queen bed and 2 bedrooms with a bottom double bed
- Lounge area with TV and an air-conditioner to keep you cool in summer and toasty in winter. Plenty of puzzles and board games
- Kitchen is equipped with all the cooking essentials for simple lunches to whipping up hearty dinners
- Smoke alarm and security cameras for your safety and ours
- Washing machine to avoid piles of laundry after your relaxing getaway
- Secure parking for your cars and/or boat
- Easy access to the boat ramp

Such a great host. Fantastic communication and very helpful. Lovely spot and is a great kiwi Bach. Loved the fishing and biscuiting on the lake. The place was fantastic for little ones with the fencing. The beds were so comfortable and the shower had great pressure.

Excellent stay. Loved the place and the amenities offered for our stay which was over a month. Cleaning service was provided every week which was just great. Lorraine and John were excellent hosts and were so understanding with our situation due to the lockdown. I would highly recommend their place.
